Katara Hospitality, a leading global hotel owner, developer and operator based in Qatar, is excited to announce the opening of Jamavar Doha at Sheraton Grand Doha Resort & Convention Hotel, an Indian fine dining experience that pays homage to the royal cuisines of palatial India.
Jamavar, the highly anticipated restaurant Co-founded by Samyukta Nair and her father, Dinesh, that began at The Leela Palaces, Hotels & Resorts in India, is officially here in Doha. After conquering the luxury dining scene in the Indian subcontinent, Jamavar Doha is the second international outpost to the critically acclaimed brand after its exceptional success in Mayfair London in 2016 where it received a celebrated Michelin star within the first year of its opening. Jamavar Doha is the seventh restaurant within the family.
Famed for its unique approach to Indian cuisine from across the sub-continent, Jamavar gives food connoisseurs the opportunity to immerse in its authentic recipes. From elegant décor and fine details to the diverse offering, diners can perfectly indulge in lunch and dinner experiences that are second to none. Led by Culinary Director Surender Mohan, Jamavar Doha’s menu showcases dishes from both the Royal kitchens of Northern India and the coastal cuisine from the Southern states, exploring Pan-Indian flavours using a range of authentic cooking techniques and reflecting the essence of its siblings across India and London.
