The View Hospital will be operated by Elegancia Healthcare in affiliation with Cedars-Sinai, the internationally renowned healthcare group based in Los Angeles. The state-of-the-art 242-bed facility, spanning approximately 101,000 sqm, is situated in Al Qutaifiya, neighbouring The Pearl, overlooking Katara and the skyline of Doha.
Representatives from Cedars-Sinai and Elegancia Healthcare toured the construction site which included a presentation of the design concept and renderings of the hospital. The delegation discussed the features, departments, and The View’s facilities.
The 15-storey hospital will offer a comprehensive range of medical services and facilities, including 12 intensive care units, 8 critical care units, 11 neo-natal intensive care units and 6 labour, delivery, and recovery rooms. The façade of the hospital integrates LED technology to produce an effect of flowing water - a welcoming sight for patients seeking quality healthcare.
The visiting team comprised of Elegancia Healthcare CEO, Bassam Sayad, FACHE, and Cedars-Sinai Senior Vice President of Operations, Bryan Croft, Dr. Georges Feghali (Interim Chief Medical Officer/Medical Advisor) and Sean Collins (Executive Director, Facilities, Planning, Design and Construction).
