The cost of PCR coronavirus tests has been capped at QR160 across Qatar by the Ministry of Public Health (MoPH). Clinics cannot charge more than that amount from October 6.
The current price limit is QR300, although several clinics are charging as low as QR180 for such tests.
Besides, the ministry set teh limit at QR50 for rapid antigen and serology antibody tests.
A positive Serology Antibody test pre-travel is mandatory for individuals with two doses of a conditionally recognized vaccine, with the validity of the test being 30 days.
The conditionally-recognized vaccines are sinopharm, Sinovac and Sputnik V.
