Dr Abdullah Abdullah, President of High Council for National Reconciliation in Afghanistan, Surur Danesh, Second Vice-President of the Republic, Muhammad Hanif Atmar, Minister of Foreign Affairs, and Hamdallah Moheb, National Security Adviser in Afghanistan, and a number of Afghan personalities met Minister of Foreign Affairs'' Special Envoy for Counterterrorism and Mediation in Conflict Resolution HE Dr Mutlaq bin Majed Al Qahtani in Kabul on Thursday. During the meetings, the efforts and mediation of Qatar aimed at establishing peace and reconciliation in Afghanistan were reviewed. The meetings also touched upon a number of regional and international issues of common concern. During the meeting, President of the High Council for National Reconciliation thanked Qatar for its good offices in bringing peace to Afghanistan.
