Qatar participated in the Sudan Partners’ Conference at the ministerial level organised by Germany in partnership with Sudan, the United Nations and the European Union. Qatar was represented at the conference by Special Envoy of the Minister of Foreign Affairs for Counterterrorism and Mediation in Conflict Resolution HE Dr Mutlaq bin Majid Al Qahtani. The conference highlighted political and economic support for the transitional government in Sudan, as well as economic and political reforms, the peace process and stabilisation in Sudan. (QNA)
