Non-Resident Ambassador of Qatar to Nicaragua HE Dr Khamees bin Rashid Al Kaabi has delivered the medical aid and medicines provided by Qatar to Nicaragua, in order to help the country fight the COVID-19 pandemic. The aid was received by Assistant Health Minister of Nicaragua Dr Enrique Beteta, during a ceremony held on this occasion. In a speech on this occasion, Dr Enrique Beteta expressed thanks and appreciation to Qatar for its permanent support and its humanitarian stances with other countries, especially in crises. Meanwhile, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Nicaragua Denis Moncada also met with Al Kaabi. During the meeting, they reviewed bilateral cooperation between the two countries, in addition to issues of common interest. Moncada expressed his hope for strengthening relations between the two friendly countries and cooperation in various fields, and stressed that Nicaragua places the relationship with Qatar at the top of its priorities.
