The fifth edition of Mahaseel Festival, organised by the Cultural Village Foundation (Katara) in cooperation with the Ministry of municipality and Environment (MME), was launched on Wednesday. The festival will continue until January 2.
On its first day, the festival witnessed a large number of visitors, as the organising committee of the festival seeks to provide wide range of options for shoppers, including fresh vegetables, dates and food products. Mahaseel Festival provides an excellent platform to Katara’s visitors, as it displays the finest crops and fresh Qatari agricultural products from national farms, such as vegetables, fruits, milk and cheese, in addition to meat, poultry, birds, honey and natural juices, as well as roses, flower nurseries and ornamental plants for home gardens.
The inauguration was attended by ambassadors of many countries, representatives of diplomatic missions to Qatar, officials of the MME and the Cultural Village Public Corporation, in addition to owners of Qatari farms and representatives of the participating national companies and a number of Katara visitors.
