Speaker of the Shura Council HE Ahmed bin Abdullah bin Zaid Al Mahmoud on Wednesday met with Speaker of the National Assembly of Kuwait Marzouq bin Ali Al Ghanim and his accompanying delegation.
During the meeting, they discussed the ways to develop cooperation between the Shura Council and the Kuwaiti National Assembly, enhance joint Gulf parliamentary work, coordinate positions between the two councils in regional and international parliamentary activities,
as well as reviewing a number of issues related to parliamentary work.
The meeting was attended by Deputy Speaker of the Shura Council HE Mohammed bin Abdulla Al Sulaiti, Member of the Council and Chairman of Qatar-Arab Parliamentary Friendship Group HE Saqr bin Fahad Al Muraikhi and Ambassador of Kuwait to Qatar HE Hafeez Mohammed Al Ajmi.
