Shakespeare, the greatest bard, and his language were celebrated in all grades of the school, from Kindergarten to Senior Secondary, through presentations and activities. Celebrations aimed to entertain as well as inform, with the goal of raising awareness and respect for the history and culture of the English language, as well as the accomplishments of countless writers, poets, and playwrights.
Students created posters depicting their interest in learning the English language by focusing on a poet or writer of their choice.
The English Teachers led various classroom activities such as pictorial idioms, crossword puzzles, quizzes and puzzle games, JAM, and extempore.
The students demonstrated and expanded their creativity by designing pamphlets and posters on William Shakespeare using advanced technical tools such as Canva live, PPT, animoto, and interactive PowerPoint presentations. The event was a fitting tribute to the Bard of Avon.
