Lt Gen Mahamat Idriss Deby, president of the transitional military council and head of state of the Republic of Chad, met with Minister of State for Foreign Affairs HE Sultan bin Saad Al Muraikhi, who is visiting Chad, on Sunday.
The meeting began with the Minister of State for Foreign Affairs conveying the State of Qatar’s condolences to the President of the Chadian Transitional Military Council and Head of State on the death of the late President Idriss Deby.
Muraikhi also conveyed HH the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al- Thani greetings o HE the president of Chad’s transitional military council, as well as His Highness’s wishes for more progress and growth for the Chadian people.
For his part, the president of Chad’s transitional military council entrusted HH the Amir’s greetings to HE the Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, wishing him health and happiness and the Qatari people continued development and prosperity.
They reviewed bilateral cooperation relations between the two countries during the meeting.
