Bangkok: Thai authorities allowed restaurants to serve in-house customers again despite seeing a record number of new Covid-19 cases on Monday.
Restaurants in areas with the highest number of cases, which includes the capital Bangkok, were allowed to serve in-house customers again but at only 25 percent capacity. A previous directive only allowed take-away orders.
Thailand has been battling its biggest outbreak of Covid-19 cases since April while a new cluster of infections were recently discovered among prison inmates.
Health officials reported a record 9,635 new coronavirus cases on Monday, 6,853 of which were found among
