Mohammed Ali Al-Mannai, President of the Communications Regulatory Authority (CRA), welcomed a delegation from the Islamic Republic of Iran on Thursday, led by HE Mohammad Javad Azari Jahromi, Minister of Information and Communications Technology of the Islamic Republic of Iran, and attended by HE Hamid Reza Dehghani, Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran to CRA.
The meeting included discussions on a number of topics of mutual interest in the fields of information and communications technology (ICT) and post, as well as ways to frame future collaboration. Furthermore, CRA presented information about the ICT and postal sectors in Qatar, and the Iranian delegation presented information about the ICT sector in Iran in relation to the COVID-19 pandemic and the sector’s role in mitigating pandemic damage, particularly in education and health.
