Birla Public School, Doha, Qatar on Sunday celebrated the Teachers’ Day to commemorate the birth anniversary of Dr Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan.
The event started with a special prayer. Chairman Gope Shahani, directors C V Rappai and Lukose K Chacko, and management representatives and principal A P Sharma attended the special occasion. They praised the teaching faculty for leading the students and rising up to the challenges of the pandemic situation.
They also thanked the teachers for being strong during the hard times while continuing to shape and guide the students on the right path.
The chairman described the teachers as the “focal point of all change”.
Colourful, enthralling and captivating programmes were presented by the students of all the sections as a tribute to their teachers.
Words of love and reverence by the tiny tots stole the show. The heartfelt tribute by them spread smiles on the faces of the teachers.
The parents too shared their wishes and appreciated the teachers for all support.
The students showered respect by making the programme a grand success.
