Qatar took part in the 114th meeting of the GCC Financial and Economic Cooperation Committee held in Bahrain with the participation of their excellencies the GCC ministers of finance, economy and planning. Minister of Finance HE Ali bin Ahmed Al Kuwari chaired the delegation of Qatar at the meeting. The delegation included General Authority of Customs Chairman Ahmed bin Abdullah Al Jamal. Meanwhile, Minister of Commerce and Industry HE Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad bin Qassim Al Abdullah Al Thani took part in the joint meeting of the Financial and Economic Cooperation Committee and the Commercial Cooperation Committee, which was held via video conference. The committee highlighted the importance of the GCC states continued endeavours to keep pace with the current financial and economic developments and challenges at the regional and international levels, while translating the efforts and achievements in a way that contributes directly to supporting and strengthening the GCC joint economic process.
