Qatari shooter Abdullah Al Sunaidi won the men’s 10m air rifle gold medal on Day 12 of the Amir Cup Shooting and Archery Championships at the Lusail Shooting Complex on Tuesday. Ahmed Al Ali won the silver medal while Abdul Rahman Al Sharshani won the bronze medal in the competition which saw a strong field. Al Sunaidi said: “It is a great honour for me to compete in the Amir Cup and I am very happy for being able to win the gold medal.” Al Sunaidi will also participate in the 50-meter rifle event. In the youth category of the 10-meter air rifle competition, Saad Al Sulaiti won the gold medal while Abdulaziz Al Turki and Hamad Al Tamimi took silver and bronz medals respectively. (TNN)
