His Highness the Amir of the State of Qatar Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani and Brazilian President Jair Bolsonaro, who arrived in Doha for an official visit on Wednesday morning, held talks at the Amiri Diwan in the afternoon.
HH the Amir welcomed the visiting president and the accompanying delegation, wishing him a pleasant stay, and the relations of the two countries further development and growth in various fields.
For his part, Bolsonaro expressed his thanks to HH the Amir for the warm reception and hospitality, stressing his country’s keenness to develop and strengthen bilateral relations and cooperation with Qatar in various fields to achieve the interests of both the countries and peoples.
During the talks, they discussed bilateral relations between the two countries and ways to develop them, especially in the fields of investment, economy, defence, energy and sports, in addition to exchanging views on a number of issues of common interest. (QNA)
