Qatar has condemned, in the strongest terms, the brutal attacks of the Israeli occupation forces and settler militias on defenceless Palestinian civilians in towns and villages northwest of Nablus, especially in Burqa. Qatar described them an extension of the horrific and heinous crimes of the occupation against the Palestinian people, and a flagrant violation of human rights and international covenants.
In a statement on Monday, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs stressed the need for the international community to move urgently to stop the repetitive Israeli attacks against the Palestinian people. It also renewed Qatar’s firm position on demand for justice for the Palestinian cause and the legitimate rights of the Palestinian people, including the establishment of their independent state on the 1967 borders with the Al Quds as its capital.
