Stockholm Four bodies have been found in a house that caught alight in a town to the north of Stockholm on Christmas Day, police in the Swedish capital reported on Monday.
The bodies, which were found on Thursday, almost certainly belonged to a family in the town of Sandviken, who had been reported missing since the fire, police spokesman Mikael Hedstr?m said. The delay in making the news public was caused by the need to inform next-of-kin about the deaths. Swedish police had been assisted in this by their colleagues in Germany, Switzerland and the Philippines, Hedstr?m said. (dpa)
