Qatar Tourism released a new song to celebrate Qatar National Day and the country’s attractions. An initiative by the entity, the song showcases the country’s offerings through a music video. It follows four young girls as they embark on a tour of Doha, while singing “This is Qatar!”. The video, since posted on December 12, 2021, has generated over 2.2 million views on YouTube.
The song was performed by Hessa Alneama, a Qatari making her debut performance. Directed by Salem AlTurk, the song featured custom attire by Qatari designer, Dee Designs. The video follows the girls, supported by a cast of 24 young Qatari girls, as they walk along the Corniche, visit Souq Waqif, the Museum of Islamic Art, take a dhow ride, enjoy a match at one of Qatar’s state of the art stadiums, and make their way through Aspire Park, and Katara.
