Qatar Chamber Chairman Sheikh Khalifa bin Jassim Al Thani presided over the Chamber’s delegation participating in a meeting of the Federation of GCC Chambers, which was held on Wednesday via video conferencing.
The meeting saw discussion on the estimated budget of the Federation for the current year.
The Chamber’s delegation also included Second Vice-Chairman Rashid bin Hamad Al Athba, Assistant Director General for Government Relations and Committees Affairs Ali Bu Sherbak Al Mansouri, Chairman’s Advisor El-Sayed Rajab and Economic Advisor Dr Mohamed Ibrahim.
During the meeting, a committee was formed with the aim to develop the performance of the Federation’s General Secretariate, functional structure and administrative regulations in a way that serves objectives of the Federation, enhances its potentials and helps in proposing new activities and events that support its financial resources.
The committee is formed from four member Chambers, including the Qatar Chamber and the chambers of Kuwait, Bahrain and Oman. (TNN)
