The joint tactical exercise for the security services of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) for Arab States, Arab Gulf Security 3, which was held over 14 days at the Eastern Region of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, concluded on Saturday.
The delegation of Qatar to the closing ceremony was headed by Undersecretary of the Ministry of Interior and Commander of the Lekhwiya Force HE Maj Gen Abdulaziz bin Faisal Al Thani. Qatar participated with forces from the Ministry of Interior and Lekhwiya in the exercise which aimed at enhancing the security cooperation, raising the level of coordination, interaction and exchange of experiences between the security services of the Gulf Cooperation Council countries, in addition to joint planning to confront potential threats and risks.
