Assistant Foreign Minister HE Lolwah bint Rashid Al Khater met with Secretary of the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade of Australia Kathryn Campbell, in the presence of Ambassador of Australia to Qatar HE Jonathan Muir in Doha on Saturday.
During the meeting, they discussed aspects of bilateral cooperation and ways to improve and expand it, particularly in the areas of trade exchange and investment, as well as developments in the Afghan situation, particularly women’s education issues, and a number of issues of mutual concern.
Secretary of the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade of Australia Kathryn Campbell thanked the State of Qatar for its unremitting efforts in the peace process in Afghanistan. (qna)
